Paul Mitchell Spray Wax is one of my absolute favorite hair products.
It works wonders on hair that has a lot of texture. It creates a really piecey layered look and I absolutely love it.
It creates bendable texture.
It delivers a satin finish.
The light aerosol mist is easy to apply to all hair lengths and types.
It has non-oily wax to create a satin finish.
Fine, flexible beeswax adds pliability.
This is how I recommend using it: Spray a decent amount in your hands, and rub them together (make sure to get some on your fingers). Lightly work through your dry hair. Don’t use toward your scalp. This creates a finished messy look, without looking grungy.
This is how Paul Mitchell recommends using it: Shake well and spray lightly into dry hair. Then work through with your fingers.

Teasing Tools | hwh<3
If you are like me, and have to tease or backcomb your hair everyday (even if it’s just a little bit), I am going to show you some cool tools to aid in your styling.
So you can look like this……
So if you are going to tease your hair, I recommend using either a teasing brush or a teasing comb.
Teasing Comb
Kent 5 Prong Hair Pick
The difference between a teasing comb and a regular comb, is that first off, there are little rivets in the inside end of the bristles (or spokes, whatever you want to call them). This is specifically designed to backcomb your hair more efficiently. The other great benefit of using one of these combs is that there is a pick at the end of it, as you can tell. The great thing about this is you can use the pick to lift up flat areas of your tease-job and smooth it out without destroying the backcombing.

Teasing Brush
Cricket Amped Up Teasing Brushes
I bought my first teasing brush (Marilyn brand) at my old work, for like 18$. It was totally worth it. I use it almost every day. However, I have found them for a lot cheaper. I bought a Paul Mitchell Teasing Brush for the shop for 4$ at Cosmoprof, and it works awesome too. The great thing about these is that they use a natural bristle which works GREAT for teasing. They also have rivets on the sides, which works wonders with backcombing. Last but not least, they always have a little pointed end that acts like a pick, to lift the flat areas.
