<3 my makeup today!! | hwh<3
I really love my makeup today, so I decided to share it! My goal was to make my eyes look like fire! I used all Mac eyeshadow colors in bright sunshine, post haste, and shadowy lady!
Halloween Day 11: X Out Your Eyes | hwh<3
This is one of my favorite looks. All I did was painted my makeup on like I usually do. However, I used black eyeliner to paint X’s over my eyes and black on my lips.
I stole this look from My Chemical Romance’s Frank Iero.

Halloween Day 9: Blood Jewels | hwh<3
This look is pretty basic. I just did red and black eye shadow (MAC Post Haste and Black Tied), put on red lipstick and stuck some “blood jewels” on that I got from the Halloween store. You can’t tell so much from the picture, but they are actually really shiny and cute. They just have a back that you peel off, and then stick them right on your face. Get creative!

Halloween Day 8: Pumpkin Face | hwh<3

This was extremely easy. All I needed was black and orange face paint from the Halloween store. I painted my whole face orange, and then used a q-tip to paint the black on my face. Obviously, the main objective is to make yourself look like a jack-o-lantern. The whole thing took about 5 minutes.

Halloween Day 7: Eyes on Eyelids | hwh<3
To do this look, I just painted eyes on my eyelids with makeup. It looks really neat when you close your eyes, but it also looks cool when your eyes are open.

I used MAC white frost to put a solid white base on my eyelids. I used black eyeliner to draw an outline of my eyes. I tried to mimic the way I typically wear my eyeliner, with the cat eye. I painted a black pupil in the middle of my eyelids. Finally, I used purple Mica eyeshadow to paint on my iris.
It was pretty simple. It only took me a few more minutes than my normal makeup did.

Halloween Day 5: Vampire Bites | hwh<3

This is something cool I learned how to do when I was in elementary school. I used to always rub Elmer’s glue on my arm, wait for it to dry, peel up the sides a bit and color the inside with a red marker. It would look like I had a wound on my arm. Back then, I wanted to be a makeup artist for movies, so I thought I was so cool doing this little trick. The funny thing is my coworker just mentioned today “You can do some awesome Halloween makeup with Elmer’s glue. She taught me a neat way to do like dead looking skin for a zombie or something with the glue so I might post that another day.
Anyways, I wanted to put my Elmer’s glue wound in action by making vampire bites. In the day and age where vampires are awesome (I’m team Edward btw), this would be a perfect fun look for Halloween.
So the first thing you want to do is pour a bit of Elmer’s glue on your hand. This is where I always place my palate of makeup.

Next you want to put a thin layer of the glue on your neck (preferably over the artery, where the vampire would bite you). Make another one right next to it.

Allow the glue to dry for about 20 minutes or so and then peel up the edges.

You can use a red marker if you really want, but I picked up some fake blood from the Halloween store for 2$. Because I was working on such a small area, I applied the blood to a Q-tip.

Now use the blood to fill in the inside of the “wounds”. I also applied red lipstick for dramatic effect.

Now, you could stop here if you want, and maybe it would fool a few people throughout the day. In my opinion, it looks like I have 2 pimples on my neck, and I also think it would look more believable to have blood oozing out.

Now, you can take it even one step further if you want, and add blood around the corners of your mouth. This makes it seem like you are a vampire that was bitten, and now you are craving blood.

Halloween Day 3: Black and Orange Eye Makeup | hwh<3
Today, I did some (I think) awesome black and orange eye make up to celebrate Halloween.

For my eyeshadow, I used an orange color from an LA Colors pallet which I bought from the dollar store a million years ago. For the black, I used MAC Black Tied, and MAC White Frost to highlight below my eyebrows.
The eyeliner I use on top is L’Oreal Lineur Intense Defining Liquid Liner in Carbon Black.
The eyeliner I use on the bottom is Lancome Le Crayon Khol in Black Lapis (which is the absolute best pencil eyeliner in the world. I’ve used it for years).
The mascara I use is Maybelline Colossal and One by One in Blackest Black.
The orange glitter on my cheek bone is from a glitter pallet from Claire’s.
For my eyebrows I use, Big Beautiful Eyes (eye contour kit) from Benefit.
On my face, I use only Bare Minerals Mineral Veil and Medium shaded powder. I have to use only Bare Minerals, otherwise I break out.
I use a MAC bronzing powder in Bronze.

Halloween Day 1: Undead | hwh<3

First off, I am well aware that my shoulders don’t match my face. Haha. I work at a tanning salon so what can you expect. If I planned to wear this makeup out, I would either have painted or covered my skin. For the sake of the article, I tried to crop it out.
To create this look you will need, white paint, black make up, black eyeliner and silver glitter eyeliner. To be fair, I did not have the white make up for my face. What I used was diaper rash ointment, which I have no idea why I have it at my house, but I do. The downfall to this method is that I had to wash my face about 7 times to get if off, and it never dried. Another clever idea to use is a white facial masque, and I know most of you probably have that laying around.
For my lips and around my eyes, I used black paint make up that I picked up at the Halloween store. I tried to make my lips as perfect as possible because I think it looks better. I used a Q-tip to outline the edges. The black around your eyes does not need to be perfect in this case. It is supposed to look like you have sunken in eyes.
After the black make up dried, I used my silver glitter eyeliner to apply the eyeliner like I normally do. I also applied mascara because I think everything looks a lot better with mascara.
To finish off the make up, I drew the stitches on the sides of my mouth, and the X’s on my eyes with black eyeliner.
As for my hair, that is pretty much how my hair looks when I wake up everyday. To my advantage, I was running late this morning and had to just throw my hair up in a messy ponytail. After I did my makeup, I took my hair down and messed it up even more. Obviously undead people don’t have perfect hair, so you would want it to look messy.
